Mark Patterson joined Contract Solutions, Inc (CSI) in September 2019. He is senior manager with over 30 years of executive and operational experience. He is a creative thinker and innovator who understands the importance of communications to inspire team members in building flexible, high performing organizations. He is self-motivated with the innate skills to negotiate, lead teams, translate customer requirements into feasible solutions, and work with others to exceed our customer's expectations. Mark is recognized for his innovative management and for excelling in the most difficult and complex tasks while achieving the highest levels of productivity and efficiency.
Mark has thirteen years of government contracting experience previously serving as the Vice President at a Management Consulting firm consisting of over 1,200 employees geographically dispersed at over 80 work sites across the United States and overseas (Korea; Japan; Okinawa; Guam; Italy; Germany; Belgium; Netherlands; Spain; the United Kingdom; Iraq; Kuwait; and Afghanistan). In this capacity, he was responsible for managing the daily operations and delivery of services for work valuing over $300 million in the areas of Human Resources, Training Management, Military and Family Life Programs, Security Operations, and Logistics (Supply, Warehouse Operations, Transportation, and Maintenance). He was accountable for planning, directing, organizing, and controlling the day-to-day operational activities and staffing of the organization. He was responsible for helping the company achieve its financial goals and objectives through increased operational performance and company growth. He wrote business proposals, participated in business development, performed risk management, and implemented CMMI Level 3 and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems on awarded work. In addition, he was responsible for the management of the Corporate Board of Advisors.
Prior to entering the private sector, Mark served in the United States Army for 26 years, retiring at the rank of Colonel. He served as Commanding Officer, Executive Officer, and Operations Officer. His military leadership and management experience in Human Capital operations worldwide included directing strategic planning, staffing, budgeting, resource allocation, administrative, technology, and training support. He is a skilled policy developer and strategic planner in the areas of recruiting, retention, manpower analysis, training and development, organizational development, and risk management. He as direct and decisive leadership qualifications with particular strengths in strategic and organizational planning, performance improvement, quality improvement, and productivity gain. Mark is also experienced in the start-up and leadership of new operations and organizations.
